Terms & Conditions

Teachers are professionally trained, fully qualified and have up to date Enhanced DBS checks.

A 'hands on' approach is often needed for teaching technique swell as supporting acrobatic movements. Please let Chelsea know if you are not happy for your child to be taught this way.

Uniform - All children attending must wear Black leggings & Dance Affinity Tops or any of Dance Affinity's Training Wear. If you do not have a Dance Affinity T-shirt, plain black is acceptable. We do have stock of the Vinyl Dance Affinity T-shirts so if you would like to purchase one please speak to a member of the team.

Bad behaviour or abusive language will not be tolerated towards other pupils or staff.

We operate a 'no bullying' policy. If we find you are bullying members of our school, you may be asked to leave.

Please let Chelsea know if you are unable to make your class.

All payments will be taken automatically on a subscription basis on the 1st of every month for the classes in the upcoming month. No refunds will be given due to illness or holidays.

Our payments are worked out over 47 weeks - this allows us to be shut for 3 weeks over the Christmas period and allow students 2 weeks holiday per year.

If classes are cancelled and replacement teacher isn't found, pupils are more than welcome to attend another session that week to make up for loss time. No refunds will be given.

You must give 1 months notice if you wish to change your subscription or stop your subscription altogether.

EVERYBODY who attends must have their payments taken via subscription on 1st of every month. If this fails after 3 attempts, you will not be allowed to attend classes and you will not be allowed to attend until payment has been received. If your subscription fails 3 times, you will also be charged the late payment fee of £20. We will no longer be invoicing or taking class payments any other way except through our system.

Private lessons will be invoiced monthly and must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date. 24 Hour cancellation period applies for private lessons. If cancelled out of the 24 hour cancellation period, we will credit the private lesson on your next invoice. If you cancel within 24 hours of your lesson, the private lesson will still need to be paid in FULL.

All competitors must have at least 1x private lesson per week to be able to take part in competitions.

All classes must be book and paid for in advance due to COVID-19. No walk in's are available.

Referral Fee - If you recommend someone to join the school, you will receive a £20 Amazon voucher as a thank you. We have a questionnaire upon sign up - the person you have referred must state your name upon sign up. They must also be signed up for a total of 3 months after their trial period for you to be eligible for the £20 Amazon voucher.

Competitions


When attending competitions, all competitors must wear their branded Dance Affinity uniform.

All costumes brought must be approved by Chelsea.

All tickets ordered for competitions must be paid in full 1 week in advance.

Sportsmanship is very important in the dance world. You are representing Dance Affinity as a business therefore support for others is the most important agenda of the day. A success for one child from our school is a success for the school and its whole reputation.

All parents and pupils are expected to be on their feet clapping and cheering for EVERY pupil from Dance Affinity.

All parents and pupils are to stay until the finals and awards have been handed out to support and congratulate their friends unless you have asked permission to the before the section has commenced. Exceptions will be made to competitions that are running late into the evening and where a child is feeling unwell or injured.
